Smoothest DMV experience I could’ve had, unexpectedly. They text notifications when your number is close to being called, which means you don’t have to sit there all day. Rochelle helped me and she was very nice and helpful in getting things done.

I went at 4pm on Tuesday and was in and out in 11 minutes without an appointment. I’m still in shock that it was so fast. The person at check in says it gets slower around 4pm so I recommend trying then if you don’t have an appointment.

Short wait times considering the amount of people here. Staff were helpful and straight to the point. It is loud and chaotic, sometimes it was hard to understand another person talking. All tests were swift and simple, overall a good experience.

I was in and out in an hour with appointment. Bus routes are not too far from DMV. $41 for all fees. I did driver knowledge test online through virtual test center. Very helpful. You should search and prepare for all original documents to complete a REAL ID transaction.

It’s the DMV & there will always be delays, but DEFINITELY make an appointment. It took me 80 mins to swap a license from another state with an appointment. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Also, the bathroom was not gross, which is great because another review said it was. Plenty of parking too if you have to drive there.

Very positive experience today. Drivers license renewal. Despite the fact that it was busy, every worker I encountered was helpful and friendly. It was was well organized and efficient. I had very low expectations and was kind of dreading having to go there. What a pleasant surprise! Thank you and happy holidays to everyone who is working hard there.

I see that the DMV department is trying to improve their service, easy to read manuals and website services. They are growing with the time: better website design, call center services technology and cleaner offices in the Bay area. Thank you for making these changes that's all we ask from DMV.

My son needed to get a driver's license. He filled out an application on the site, scanned and uploaded the necessary documents and at the appointed time we arrived at the DMV. The line at the entrance was very well organized, the staff helped to resolve issues. Everything went surprisingly very quickly. By the way, my son passed the test successfully.

I got there at 6:50 AM on a sunny Tuesday morning with no appointment and was out of there by 9:30 after getting a renewal and having to take the exam as well. I don't recommend getting there much after 7am and would actually suggest getting there at 6:30 AM. Everyone was as nice as could be the experience was not bad for a DMV.
