Small office, quick service, friendly and knowledgeable staff and no line best yet small town in and out in no time. Yay. Ample parking. Paired in the same complex adjacent to the police station.

My experience with the Alturas DMV was superior. I'm 75yrs old and ask my daughter to go with me to help me register my new truck. Casey Scott was absolutely wonderful! She was so kind and helpful. She took so much stress off my shoulders. I had to return the next day because the dealership paperwork hadn't arrived yet. Another lady helped us finish the paperwork. She was also very helpful and kind. Comparing passed experiences with other DMV's, Alturas is the best.

They are the best DMV in California And the best we've ever been to in our lifetime of 60 odd years. Very friendly and very helpful

Visiting my brother. He was the one who needed to go there. In and out of there in 10 minutes. AMAZING! Never get that experience in the Bay Area.
