Checked on Sat and the next appt in 3 weeks. I couldn't take that date, as it is past my bday. Today, I just waited till 9am, got in the queue online and drove over to the DMV skipped the line outside, and sat down. In and out in 45 minutes, including eye test and photo, to renew license.

If you stay in line early, you can be in and out of DMV real quick. I lined up at 6 am, there were 10 people ahead of us. Make sure you have all your documents ready as well as your application. The process was easy & fast. They start checking your documents around 6:45 am so which was convenient.

Wow. You guys got your act together. Bravo. In and out in a half hour for driver license renewal and REAL ID. Appointments help.. although at the time I went (Wednesday at 1pm) there was no line for NON appointments and about 15 in line for appointment. Still... super fast.
