The DMV can be a decent experience if you happen to make an appointment! Go online, provide documentation for approval before you go, make the appointment, arrive early, and I got out of there in record time. What a huge change from the DMV of olden days.

Let's face it. Going to the DMV is the last place you want to go, but if you must go, definitely go to the Laguna Hills location. Hands down the most friendly and helpful staff ever.
