Everyone here are so friendly and helpful and very fast service in an out just the way I like it.

Wow today was the 1st time I walked in and did not have to wait! Arrived at 130 and was out by 137pm. The lady helping me was so nice it was surreal. DMV really did a great job today no lines, everyone happy!

These employees are the nicest dmv employees i have ever seen. I walked in with a bunch of different things to do, with no appointment, and was out in an hour and a half.

The tellers were awesome and helped me with all my transactions quite quickly. The best part was the wait time was less than 5 minutes before I had someone call my number. Shortest time ever at a DMV in my 28 yrs of going there.

Even tho they technically aren't supposed to--the staff was super helpful and very kind. Kids were being tested for driving and I had to smile at how they handled the nervous teens.

I've never had such a pleasant experience at DMV as I had today. No appointment but in and out in :35 with a Real ID. The woman at the check-in desk is helpful and cheerful with everyone that came through the door. Wow. What a great experience.

I did DMV paperwork for a car dealership for 20+ years. The most valuable lesson I learned was if you're nice to the DMV, the DMV will be nice to you. I had the pleasure of going to the Lakeport DMV last Friday. I did not have an appt. The office was not crowded. I walked in, was greeted with a smile and very pleasantly taken care of. All offices get busy. The DMV is a government agency and the government dictates how many people are hired for each office. Blaming a field office for being understaffed is unfair. I'm relatively sure they would love the extra help. I'm sticking up for the DMV because it's not an easy job and mainly because they are understaffed, everyone thinks they have a 5 minute issue and they have to listen to the same screaming kids that one of the previous commenters complained about. Make an appt , do your homework and go in prepared. You'd be amazed how people that are treated with respect will treat you in return.

This past summer I had to go to the DMV in lakeport ca. Normally one would not expect to get such great service from a DMV but these wonderful employees went above and beyond helping me with my problem. Not only that but you can get in and out pretty quickly. I will always go to this particular office . if I could only remember the 2 women's names who helped me.

Been to 3 DMVs recently. Petaluma was most efficient with shortest wait time. I thought Santa Rosa DMV was bad with a very long wait, but the DMV in Lakeport takes the cake. If you go there without an appointment, plan on spending at least 4 to 6 hours.
