Mount Shasta, CA DMV Office

All we can say is "Wow!" We have never been in a DMV where the staff was this gracious, friendly, and helpful. Plus they got us in and out with our car fully registered in less than 30 minutes. What a pleasant surprise this was and they helped us make sense of a typically difficult process. They even made sure we felt welcomed to California. Keep up the great work ladies!!!

Nothing makes me happier than to hear my friends from the city talk as if 4 hour waits and cold employees are universal DMV experiences... and to know that the Mount Shasta DMV is one of the quickest and friendliest places here. Love it truly. I've come in with some weird unusually complicated circumstances and have always had great experiences getting anything handled.

Friendly people who know how to get you through registering your out of state purchased car. It's usually not crowded. The bathrooms are clean. I actually had a good time.

Everyone is so nice. It is so quick too. Even when people are in there. They helped me out so fast. Best DMV I been too. Thank You. Was in and out.

I took my drivers tests here 1-3 times and each time I took the test it was from the same woman. My issue is that she often made failing and even just taking the test harder than it had to be. For example, one time I failed my test and she just handed me the test sheet and briskly walked to the door without saying a word to me. Felt pretty bad. So maybe not the best costumer service.

My daughter's appointment was scheduled for 8:40 AM. When we arrived a few minutes early we were greeted right as we walked through the door. The DMV worker was assisting someone else and let us know that someone would be right with us. I noticed as each person walked through the door they were greeted kindly by the staff.

Came in to update my Real ID address. Couldn't do it online because of the privacy restriction on my address. The one in Yreka has had a line the past few times Ive tried to go in, wet weather isn't fun to stand in. Appointments aren't available at either location. I was greeted by the friendliest man, took my temp. Guided me to update my address at a computer. My number was called immediately after I finished. The clerks were so much fun, they were chatting amongst themselves, with me and in good spirits. Never ever smiled at any DMV before, was in and out in less than 15 minutes... including my restroom break. Keep up the great work everyone, you are much appreciated!

Went in twice get my license renewed, and everyone who assisted was extremely patient, informative and gracious. It's a difficult job, servicing folks with a variety of issues and moods, and the staff is dependent on a slow, constantly updating networked computer system. This team really does a superb job!

The employees here are awesome! Super friendly and welcoming. Get things done in a timely manner. Best DMV ive ever been to!
