First time at this location, didn't have an appointment but I had a really efficient and wonderful experience thanks to Leigh Ann and Brissa. Both ladies were knowledgeable and went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. I was welcome and I was valued. I can't speak for every employee or every experience at the Oceanside DMV - but I was really impressed with my visit!
I have been going to the DMV for 50 years. The experience has become increasingly organized and convenient. Noe, you can apply go or a license renewal online, make an appointment and then check in on your phone. After all that prep, there are lo long lines or waits. I was in and out waiting 15 minutes.
I went in without an appointment and was helped in a timely manner. The people working were very helpful. They’ve gotten much better!
I know that some days are crazier than others, but I got in and out on a Thursday. It was all very efficient. Much more efficient than in years past, I was in and out for my business in an hour. Luis was very kind and personable. Thank you!
This place is always super busy, but it goes pretty fast if you have an appointment. The people who work here are super nice and helpful. However, parking is tough, so a star off for that.
I took the driving test one month ago. Very pleasant driving experience. David is a very good examiner, very patient, and did not make things difficult or criticize along the way, unlike what the online reviews said.
Puro extraño. It's a freeway. That's extra right there. They helped fairly well. Accompanied to take the driving test. Straight towards reverse.
The ONLY reason I am giving this DMV a 4 star review is the security guard. She is the nicest person. Thank you for being so nice, if only the staff inside the actual building could take a class on customer service skills .
This dmv is amazing. It’s so organized even tho there’s a lot of people outside but the way they slide through them is unreal. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and that alone gets it.
It's small and less crowded . I am from escondido I normal go to our dmv but this time I made a appointment and did the stuff online. I been here for 15 minutes and I'm almost up!!! Yes!!! easy Peezy
The staff here are super friendly and helpful. You’d be foolish not to reserve a spot online (ideally a few weeks before you need to go as the reserved spots are limited) as this speeds things up considerably. I had a complicated situation but was still in and out in 45 minutes and treated with politeness and dignity. Thank you DMV Oceanside!
DMV visits suck. This one, not so bad. Warning!! If you are simply renewing you DL, still need to fill out an “application “. You can do it online. And, make an appointment online, as well.
Did my address change online and made an appointment as well. Checked in, was given a number and waited for about 7 minutes. When called, I verified my data including my new address, paid $ 33 for a new license (didn't request a new picture), received my temporary license update. All of it took 15 minutes. Best ever DMV experience I've ever had!
I went today to renew my drivers license and change my name and address and I was in and out so fast FYI if you fill out the application online and upload your documents online you get put into the appointment line even if you don't have an appointment I was in and out in 20 minutes by far the best experience I have had at the DMV!
everyone who helped me at this location was friendly and very helpful! i made an appointment online first and was able to surpass any lines - but it wasn't very crowded anyway (it was a monday afternoon). Thanks Oceanside DMV!
