Although the were short staffed, I was in and out within about an hour. Robyn was the lady that assisted and she was quick, friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant.

Made an appointment online, all my paperwork in hand. In at 9:50, out by 10:20. My appointment was at 10:30. I think it was fast. No one was rude to me. Plenty of parking. Have not complaints
This visit was a pleasant one. Employees were very polite and helpful. It may be stressful at times but we had our appointment setup and it went smooth.
Didn't like waiting for 2 hours for my number thing to be called. But did like that the fee I thought I had to pay, was not on their system, so I didn't have to pay. But quite inconvenient. They have lots of windows but only use less than half to help people.
You really have to be on the ball you'll probably end up having to remind them of something or another!! The management was awesome!!
I remember when this place was so slow I would go to seaside to get my things done. Now!! they are super fast!! absolutely incredible and extremely helpful. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and understanding. This use to be a place I dreaded going and now it's now become a place I can go relax and get my lawful documents in order hassle free.
The only thing they need is a sign that at least tells people where to go if you have an appointment or not. I stood in line not knowing there was another line inside for those who do have appointments. DMV staff was friendly and knowledgeable, no complaints there.
Idk who needs to READ THIS but make your APPOINTMENT. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes with my drivers license renewal. The earlier you go the better in my opinion.
Had an appointment, they took me in 8 minutes early, called me within 1 minute, license renewal took 5 minutes. Done & gone FAST! Thank you DMV!
This is the best DMV I've ever been to. Everyone was Super friendly and professional. I have never had a great DMV experience; great job DMV - Salinas!

I've been to this location twice within the last year. Every time we've come, we made an appointment prior. This location has a streamlined set up. Everything seems well organized. My son came for both his Real ID and then his permit. Appointment line is the best way, although walk-ins seem to be handled in good time as well. For it being DMV, the people behind the desk are pleasant. In my opinion, this location seems to be less chaotic than others I've been to... at least if you're just there to get an ID or permit.
Made an appointment, in and out in about 15 minutes. Easy process. Good customer service. They had a special line for appointments and no sooner did I get a ticket number from that line, than they were already calling my number to serve me at the window.
