Very crowded in the afternoon. Got a number for the line online helped, but when it was my turn at the counter, it turned out I need to fill out a form there then wait in line. So had to get a new number to wait on line again. So good idea, but bad implementation on DMV part.

Behind the wheel test - the invigilator was clear with his directions, followed all the necessary parts of safe driving and cleared the test. Entire staff was extremely professional and helpful starting from documents verification to finally completing the application. Highly recommended !!

The best DMV facility in the Bay Area! A line before me counted 38 people, but the speed with which it was handled - wow! I spent less than an hour with a positive result, thanks to the lady from window 14 (the last one on the right)! She was really helpful! Santa Clara DMV wasn't able to handle it for 2 months! Thank you, Santa Teresa DMV!

The fact this DMV can get an overall 3.6 star is miraculous. I’ve been there two times and the staff at every station is friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help. Can’t believe these basic good things are a luxury these days. The wait time is not bad even if you don’t have an appointment. I highly recommend coming to this DMV.

I took my behind the wheel test here. My examiner was very empathetic to me. She was not only there to assess me as a test taker, but to ensure that I understand everything on the road. All of the staff are very welcoming. The security guard is very casual too. You will definitely feel the cool atmosphere they provide. Very grateful for this DMV branch.

Was really nervous about going here for my behind the wheel exam after reading the most recent reviews but I passed on my first time with 6 errors! It was pretty empty, line was quick, and was out within an hour! Staff was friendly and helpful, examiner was polite .

I have had 3 trips here, one with appointment and two without. Since DMVs across the country does not have high bars for customer service, I want to highlight that this branch has a decently organized office. The staff seemed to know more than a regular DMV officer knows or tries to not know. It's a little too far for people north of San Jose, but it's one of the better offices.
