Best DMV ever - from perspective of 40 year driver who’s owned vehicles in 7 different states. Had appointment. Completed realID license and complicated purchase and registration in 13 min with zero wait. Nice people. Still! Offended by CA sales tax, the highest in county.

I love the new efficiency at the DMV these days. I don't have to plan ahead for a long visit. I was greeted at the door and given a number and an alert message on my phone when it was my turn. I feel very blessed to live in Truckee and be able to use the DMV here instead of dreading the whole experience as it was for so long.

Came in to renew my license and upgrade to Real ID. 11am on a Tuesday. Friendly staff, moved very quickly. Had not filled out the application online and completed that while here. Took under 30 minutes for everything. By far the least painful DMV experience I’ve ever had

Friendly and fast service to renew my tabs. Not usually the case at a DMV, but this office is easily better than most. Plenty of staff to help, keeping things organized, and protecting safety of customers and employees. All wearing masks and all keeping social distanced. I will use mail or go here for all future needs DMV related. Thank you!
