You can take care of most things at the DMV online now but some things still require you to go to a field office. Compared to the DMV in the city's the one in 29 palms is so much more tolerable.

Went in with no appt ,took about 45 minutes to get to window. Staff was friendly, but the clerk was new and had to get help to complete the boat stickers. Overall very good experience.

The gentlemen that helped me renewal my license was very professional . I’ve had many great experiences at the dmv recently .. from all of Southern California.. this place is the fastest .. short line & plenty of parking spaces . Too bad they ain’t got one in yucca valley .. but I’ll make a drive here just because they are friendly & swift .

So far one of the better DMVS I've gone to. It was a little busy, but the staff was sweet and helpful. It took about 30-45 min which is way better than having to wait hours at a time. I like that it's a smaller Dmv so its not overly crowded. All In all decent experience.

Never thought I'd compliment the DMV but was very impressed with the 29 Palms DMV - how smooth they operate with Covid restrictions and courteous staff. Showed up an hour early and was about 15th in line outside, under shaded awning. Staff were outside taking temperatures, answering questions and having us fill out forms ahead of time.

This office has some of the nicest people working at it. Most of the time I dread going to the DMV so I can feel dumb by who ever is the clerk. Not at this location, clerks are very helpful and mostly very friendly. Lines are good for a DMV. Get you in and out quickly

Another trip to the DMV Office in Twentynine Palms. They do it again. Another . Everyone is professional, helpful and nice. I was in and out in 25 minutes I've read about people being unhappy with The California DMV, but I am in a number of different DMV offices and everyone has been great.
