Concord DMV was so easy - make an appointment and get your business handled. Nice staff, kind people and efficient, hardly waited more than 10 minutes. Appointments are key!!

I wish I would have gotten the name of the lady with the ponytail in room 19 with the black and white long sweater, she walked with a cane, she needs Kudos !! I hope they get the recognition they deserve!!
We renewed our driver’s licenses at this DMV today and were very pleased. Everything went fairly quickly without unnecessary delays. The staff were competent, polite, and ready to help with our situation. Every time I’ve had to deal with this DMV, it has always been a positive experience.

As far as DMV's go, this was the the most organized and fastest moving one I've seen. Busy on a Friday morning, but they moved through everyone quickly. I was in and out in less than 2 hours for a 1st time license and needing to take two written tests.
Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful, and the staff moved quickly through the customers. I went first thing in the morning for a new DL and I was in and out (including taking the online driving test) in less than one hour. (Note: I did pre-complete my information online the night before).
I had no appointment to renewal my drivers license but did all my paperwork and payment online before going to Concord DMV. I got there around 8:30am and waited 1 hour and 20 minutes before my number was called. Checking in and actual process was well organized but just waiting for my turn was painfully slow.
Quick, painless experience. The staff here is friendly and helpful. Amazing how quick and easy it was to renew license, even with taking the test.
As far as DMVs go, this is a good one. People working there, for the most part, are friendly and efficient. It’s a well-frequented DMV so the wait times can be a little long but they seem to move quickly.
People are always complaining about DMV but I have to say I just had a wonderful experience. I went in without an appointment to renew an expired license and get replacement stickers. Everyone was so friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in the door. I was in and out in 30-45 minutes.
Son came for driving test. Signs were clear where to go. Line was not long. The tester was running late. We ended up waiting 30 minutes in the car. The driving test took less than 15 minutes. Tester was nice and son said it was pretty easy.
If you don't have an appointment, the on-line "get in line" feature is the best. Just "get in line" before you drive there, it cut our wait time by 30 minutes or more. The worker who helped me was very knowledgeable & efficient. No complaints from me.
I have read all of the horror stories about the DMV but on this day I was in and out for a real ID in 30 minutes. Great job, DMV Concord!!
I made an appointment online the same day so I was able to save a little bit of waiting time. Came in to renew my license and get the REAL ID that will be mandatory. Process was easy. Guy that help me was very informative and I was in and out within 30 minutes.
Made an appointment, brought all my documents for a Real ID, no line, friendly workers, and was done within 23 minutes start to finish. My advice.... make an appointment and bring all necessary documents it will save you time
