Had to renew my drivers license and take my picture. Took 15 minutes, quick in and out. Highly recommend making an appointment beforehand.

I always have such a great experience here and this last time Misty in registration helped me several times with paperwork and was so incredibly helpful and kind - she deserves a raise for her patience and attention to detail :)
I know the DMV gets a lot of static, but my visit today, was awesome. Window 14, forgot her name, was really helpful. She even called Sacramento to verify the status of my license! Great effort, even though it looked like she was having a bad day. Thank you for making a difference today!
Staff I worked with were kind and not uptight. Probably half capacity and only waited for 20min. I only had to be there for the DOT physical. Simple task so that is all I can speak for. Good luck
Very pleased. Finished my driver's license renewal with eye test and picture with an appointment in less than 20 minutes. Was able to do my application and test online.
This is my second visit here. Both times it was very busy. I was great full how quickly I was able to take care of my business. Good job redding dmv
Don't bother making an appointment. It's first come, first serve ... regardless. The staff was friendly and once called it goes quickly. But my 9:20 appointment meant nothing. It was after 10:00 before being called. Go early and be prepared to wait.
Pleasant staff and it took only 35 minutes for the whole processing of my drivers license renewal. No written test needed at this time and my application done online the night before. Thank you Francine/Redding DMV.
Definitely do the get in line appointment. It's great. Helped by a wonderful lady. Explained the situation and she totally helped with kindness and care. Thank you DMV.

This was the nicest DMV experience I've ever had!! We needed a to go on a Saturday and the Redding office is open. Great customer service and they got the job done quickly.
Got there early and got seen very very fast, major improvement sense last time I've been in and the place looks awesome , nice and clean.
I moved here from a small town and so my experience has always been with a small office. I thought I would be overwhelmed and have a long wait time.....neither was true...they were awesome and efficient. Great job !! Everyone there was super nice and helpful thanks
I went there and stood in line outside before they open the door,and I was number 21 or 22 in line.When they open the door at 9:00am I was done with what I had to do and walking out of there at 9:07am I was renewing my registration. A big like for me.
Had a great experience at DMV today. My daughter got her licence. My car died and the lady helping had a police officer come and jump start my car. So happy they helped us out. Could have been a really bad day.
