I arrived at 7:30am, was able to walk in, verify my documents (passport, bank statement, insurance statement) that I submitted online 2 days early, and get a number. I had around 20 people ahead of me. The numbers started getting called around 7:45am, I was called around 8:05am, gave my documents and ID, got my picture taken, and walk out at 8:15am. Definitely the fastest experience I've had at a dmv.
The people there were friendly and they were very helpful. I made sure to get an appointment online and uploaded my documents ahead of time. Total time in the DMV was probably about 20 minutes, which was excellent. I think they're doing a very good job. I highly recommend you make an appointment online before you go. Make sure you smile and say thank you. And treat them with respect and kindness.

This is the BEST DMV I’ve ever been to! Everyone was super friendly, especially Miriam and Michael. They helped me in such a professional way—kind, efficient, and attentive—that it honestly made my whole day. The experience left such a strong impression on me, and even the layout was great—super organized and not chaotic at all. I highly, highly recommend this DMV. Arrived at the DMV on a Friday after 4 p.m. without an appointment and expected to be sent home, but was pleasantly surprised! Patricia, Nicole, and Denise were efficient, kind, and incredibly professional. We were in and out in just 25 minutes, truly the best DMV experience ever!
I haven't been to the DMV for many years. The current appointment system is way better and faster than it used to be. You get notifications when it's getting close to your turn, so you don't have to sit there all day waiting. I actually didn't mind going there today, twice!
I did my real id today 7/31/24 4:15 pm with no appointment. I was done by 4:50. Pretty smooth. Workers were very nice. All joked around. Have all your documents ready. It was quick. Might be slightly faster with appointment but I didn't have one and didn't wait much.
Came here to get a new license plate. I got there super early at 7:30am and they were already processing people and assigning them to windows but told them not to go to window til 8am when they officially open. So the whole process was really fast because it was very organized, which was amazing. Idk if they open early all the time though
This is the most in-and-out DMV office I've ever been to. Really great, efficient staff. If you arrive when they open, service is quite fast. I had a renewal and the whole thing was done in about 20 minutes.
Went really smoothly and quickly. I was helped out by Denise and Timothy, who were both very friendly and helpful. This facility is also very clean and has been updated since I last went.
Got there early because I didn't want to wait in a long line. So arrived around 8:00. Was taken in at about 5 minutes. I was out of there in 15 minutes. Renewal driver's license plus real ID handled in 15 minutes at a California dmv? Who would have figured.
first timer recommended by a customer of mine and so glad i drove from glendora to this location vs going to the west covina location. Parking was easy, there was no line outside of the building and the wait to replace my cdl was under 1.5 hours with no Appt. Service was quick and as nice as dmv can be.
Everyone at the dmv is lovely except Renee. That guy needs to get his head checked, seems like everyone knows how outrageous his scoring is and somehow he is still employed. Just completely lied about my driving performance, saying I ran three stop signs when it plainly didn’t occur.
Go late, between 4 and 4:30 and there will be no line. If you need to take the written test, go earlier in case you need to retake on the same day. Currently $41 for driver license. Pay about an extra 2% if not paying in cash.
Recommend making an appointment online before hand. I was in and out within 30 minutes on a Monday afternoon. Meanwhile, for those who did not have appointments, the line wrapped around the building. The service reps I worked with were all very friendly and patient. Parking is plentiful and quick.
I'm pretty damn impressed. I got here at 8:06am and was out at 10:00am. THAT IS NOT BAD FOR DMV! I registered a car and did a real ID. The staff was friendly and seemed to work hard to get as many people as possible processed as possible. The down side ...it's still the DMV and waiting outside sucks.
