Renewed my license and made an appointment. In and out in 50 minutes. Flowed smoothly and all employees were helpful and kind.
Not as painful or scary as it could have been. Employees were friendly, computer was reasonably easy, but still quite busy. 3 stars for DMV is actually good.
Walked in expecting a bad experience, happens when you think DMV. The staff at the Novato DMV , all super friendly, Luis was very helpful, took the time to explain the process and I was out in less than an hour (I did not have an appointment) completely changed my perception of the DMV.
Just went on a Monday morning without an appointment and was met with a super efficient, clear process (literally took 12 minutes total). Staff is great!
Wouldn't think I would ever in a million years give the DMV a good review, but the folks at the Novato DMV are gracious, efficient and helpful. They give the place a good vibe and make it as painless as possible. Best place to go if you have to go to the DMV.
Today I took my practical exam and everyone was very kind, I almost didn't speak English but the person who gave me the exam was very kind.
Amazing quick, very personable. Little if no wait time. It's like a whole new dmv! Even dealing on phone with Sacramento dmv personal was excellent! Great service!
No one says 'i love going to the DMV'.. but as far as DMV experiences, I have always had very efforless transactions at this DMV. The staff is friendly, very helpful, and I usually don't spend much more than an hour here even without an appointment. Once I discovered this gem I have never been to another.
In light of all the new restrictions for groups, I thought the team at Novato DMV did a great job. Nice and efficient greeter, the atmosphere was calm and almost quiet. I would highly advise an appointment and completing all paperwork you can online. Great team today. Thank you!
About an hour wait at noon, not bad for the dmv. Lady at window 4 was polite, efficient, and I was done in about 2 minutes. Staff here have always been courteous and competent when I have had to do business.
